CNN interview delayed...
So I was supposed to be interviewed this morning on CNN's "Faces of Faith" to talk about the situation in Haiti and how people of faith are called to respond. However, due to the earthquake in Chile they cancelled all other programming for the morning to cover the devastation happening there. NYT reports 1.5 million people displaced. This tragedy just goes to show even further that we must all Live OneWorld. We are all brothers and sisters, and in the 21st century the story of the good samaritan has become global. Our neighbor beaten up on the side of the road is in need and we are called to care for him/her. Whether they are in Haiti, or Chile, or the other forgotten disasters around the world, we are called to see the world as God sees it, without borders and without boundaries. We are all part of one human family and our love must translate into action. So hopefully I will still get the chance to speak about faith on CNN soon, and I'll be sure to update you all if that happens. Also, I'm editing some video footage that I'll post shortly! I'm coming down the home stretch.. March 3rd is One Month!
